§ 01 — ABOUT

Engaging experts in genuine dialogue.

Education is conceptual
and conversational.

Conceptually Speaking began from a simple conviction: the problems that matter most in education aren’t solved by tips and tricks. They require sustained engagement with ideas — the concepts and patterns that help us understand our world and our work.

Each episode brings together educators, researchers, academic writers, and public intellectuals to explore those ideas at depth. Guests have included curriculum theorists, cognitive scientists, literacy researchers, game designers, and teacher-practitioners working at the edges of what’s possible in classrooms.

The show is hosted and produced by Trevor Aleo and has been running since 2020.
